It has been working for many people, and not working for many as well (you can see the other comments here). There could be a number of factors involved such as whether you have properly cracked the game in the first place or not, etc.. It definitely worked for me quite easily and if you follow the guide properly, you should achieve this too. Give it a better try!

1-first u run the unloker set up and now that u have installed it,after that when u run the game u notice that u own all the DLCS that is the unlocker doing it`s job but u still dont have them in the game so u have to do step 2.2-u take the EP GP SP files from your cracked game file(installation file) and paste them in your legal game file(installation file)
je ne comprnd rien . jai telecharger les sims legal avec steam une fois le jeu installer j ai suivis les instruction et mis tous les ep,gp,fp,sp dans le dossier dinstallation de mon jeu legal .une fois dans mon jeu je ne possede rien .j ai verifier les dlc je les retrouve tous

i re instal alll in one 2.5.0. stilll error giving. Does it important where to extract the rar. for example i dont have steamlibrary. should i download steam and extrack in steamlibrary in modules file. i do all 0xc0000142 youtube videos said i done still giving error.Help
Isnt working, the launcher updated and dont recognize the game anymore. if u use the older version it dont recognize steam at all. for mods, if i remember correctly, i used a paradox account to get them in older game versions but if u manage to get the mods folder like in nexus or elsewhere u can look for the documents/paradoxinteractive/crusaderkings3 or on appdata (i cant remember) and find the mods folder (you will probably have to execute the game one time for those folders to be created) and put them there. then on the launcher u go to mods and u have to ACTIVATE them before clicking on play. i hope this helps, ill try a request for a version of this game that works, hope it exists lol but if urs are working, u are a damn lucky person and should have fun for all of us that cant play it right now (raid those french kings and put them bellow ur feet) XD
