Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 Retrieve Serial Number: The Ultimate Guide

If you purchased Adobe Student & Teacher edition product, you may have received a serial number or a redemption code. See Serial numbers, redemption codes, and product codes Student & Teacher editions.

I followed the instructions from Adobe to create a silent install but when I run the command I receive "Exit code: 1" and nothing installs. Here are the instructions I followed: -elements/kb/silent-install-instructions-photoshop-elements-1.html

adobe photoshop elements 10 retrieve serial number

and then created a batch file that called setup.exe [language pack] [serial number] and then converted that into an executable that ran invisibly. Packaged everything into a .zip and created my managed install. I could have just called the setup.exe with the serial number in the run parameters in KACE but we don't want the serial number to be seen by the techs for each organization we have in KACE. Thanks for everyone's help!

I purchased the Adobe 2021 Photoshop/Premiere Elements combination off of the Dell website two weeks ago. I received two emails, one a receipt of the purchase and one a confirmation of the purchase within hours. The confirmation email has my order number and a note - "DELIVERS VIA EMAIL WITHIN 24 HOURS". I never received another email. I checked online, and the order shows up in my Dell Digital Locker, and there's also a link to obtain my serial number and retrieve my license, but that link goes to the Adobe site where I am supposed to enter a 24 character redemption code. Problem is, there's no redemption code anywhere to be found. I've spent hours looking and trying to contact Dell support. Finally, I have someone who at least emails me every couple days apologizing for the delay and promising that the software team will resend the key within a few days, but so far, nothing. It's going on two weeks and I haven't been able to obtain the software I purchased. Has anyone faced something similar? If so, how did you resolve it?

If you've lost your old serial number or license key (due to a computer upgrade or you lost your disc), you may be in luck. Did you know every product you've registered with Adobe is stored in your Adobe account? Even if you just signed in to use the product, that counts as registering, so why not check it out before you go hunting for that box or searching your emails.

I purchased and downloaded Adobe Photoshop & Premiere Elements from Bestbuy.com, but I'm unable to complete installation because Adobe prompts me for a serial number, which I cannot find anywhere. I have a key code, but that is alphanumeric and not what it's asking for.

Hey there, Shandy,Welcome to our community! I'm can understand wanting to check on this, as it sounds like you were having some issues with downloading your Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Elements. For clarification, was this a digital purchase? If so, you can find your redemption code or serial number in the email we sent you. Please let me know if you have since been able to redeem this, or if you were needing additional support with this!Best Regards,

Thanks for getting back to us with those additional details. I'd be happy to take a closer look into this and see if there's a serial number I can provide, or a different solution to help resolve the installation issue you're having.

The solution to this problem is the Account Management page of Creative Cloud. You can carry on the deactivation process from there, or get in touch with Adobe Customer Service to use your serial number and do it on their end.

The serial number is assigned to you when you purchase Photoshop from Adobe. To view your serial number, log in to your online Adobe account. All your serial numbers will be viewable there. However, you may not see these numbers. If that happens, try registering your product and reload the page.

There is one more way to find the serial number. You can use Belarc Advisor (Windows) to retrieve your serial number. Or, if you are using a Mac OS, try using the Product Key Finder on Mac. These utilities will help recover activation keys for all the programs on a system.

Some people forgot to save the serial number after they installed Adobe Photoshop or Dreamweaver CS6 on the computer. They have no idea where and how to find the serial number when they need it again.

Actually, all the product keys or serial numbers for Windows and all kinds of software excluding the trial version and pirated software installed on your computer are stored in Windows Registry. You can find Adobe CS6 serial number in Registry manually or by using a specialized tool.

Step 2: In Registry Editor, open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \SOFTWARE \Adobe\Photoshop \60.0. There you can find the PhotoShop CS6 serial number in the right pane. But please note the displayed serial number is encrypted and you can't use it to install Adobe CS6 software until you decrypt the serial number using a tool like "Belarc Advisor" or "Recover Keys". Just wait patiently in the decryption process.

If you think it's too much trouble to use the first way, then you might as well use a product key finder program like iSumsoft Product Key Finder, which finds serial number via accessing to Windows Registry. The difference is what it finds is the real serial number you can use to install Adobe CS6.

Step 3: Then it will find and display all product keys and serial numbers for all software including Adobe CS6 currently installed on your computer. Click on the Save to File button to save the serial numbers into a Notepad.

Conclusion: Compared with manually opening Registry Editor to find the encrypted Adobe CS6 serial number and then decrypting it with a tool, it should be easier and more convenient to use a product key finder like "iSumsoft Product key Finder". It's a more advanced program that can find all product keys and serial numbers for Windows and software installed on the computer. And it makes it more convenient for you to back up your serial numbers.

CS2 activation servers' shutdown: In January 2013, Adobe Photoshop CS2 (9.0), with some other CS2 products, was released with an official serial number, due to the technical glitch in Adobe's CS2 activation servers (see Creative Suite 1 and 2).

"I purchased a download of Photoshop CS6 on my computer and I want to transfer it to a new computer. I need the serial number (product key) but I can't find it. How do I find my Adobe Photoshop CS6 serial number on computer?"

People are not used to backing up the serial number after they installed Adobe products like Photoshop CS5, CS6 or Lightroom and they don't know where and how to get the serial number back next time. Actually, after we activate the Adobe product, the serial number or product key will be saved on our computer. In this post, we will walk you through three effective ways to find Adobe Photoshop CS5/CS6 serial number on computer.

It is the most effective and easiest to get Photoshop CS5 or CS6 serial number by third party tool. Software Key Finder is a very trustworthy and easy-to-use tool that helps you find the product key or license number of most software including Windows system, MS Office, Adobe, etc. The guide below is about how to find Adobe Photoshop CS5 or CS6 serial number by Software Key Finder.

Step 3: Here you can find one or several folders named after number, which contain the registries of different versions of Photoshop like Photoshop CS5, Photoshop CS6, Photoshop Element. Click them and then you can find the serial number on the right panel. But the displayed serial number is encrypted and you need to decrypted it with decryption tool.

All in all, you can try to use the ways mentioned above to find the serial number of Adobe Photoshop CS5 or CS6 on your computer. Besides, they are also available when you need to find other Adobe products like Lightroom, Bridge, Premiere Pro, etc. But not all the ways are workable. It's the most effective and easiest way to find product key of software by Software Key Finder.

I have been looking for the serial number of my Canon T5i. I have searched around the Internet and the Internet tends to say that the serial number is on the bottom of the camera and on the box. Now, I would be all set other then the fact that (a) the stamp on the bottom of the camera is smudged and 100% unreadable, and (b) the box is long gone. Is there anywhere else that I can find the serial number of my camera?

Most image viewers and editors will allow you to view the EXIF info included in the photos. Some do include more and others include less of the information contained in the EXIF data. Most Adobe products tend to strip the "maker notes" section of the EXIF when exporting the image to another format (e.g. .dng, .jpeg, etc.). They may ignore the serial number when displaying EXIF info even when the data is still there in an imported image.

Digital Photo Professional is included on the disc of applications shipped with every Canon DSLR. It is a fairly straightforward process to view the serial number of an EOS camera from the EXIF of an image made with that camera using DPP.

A free image viewer that displays the serial number in the EXIF info is Irfanview. (To open and display raw .cr2 files you will need to install the main program and the plugin. Click on the "plugin" link on the main page and follow the instructions for CRW under the *Plugins updated after the version 4.0.)

Note: Some EXIF viewers may display some Canon Camera Body Number/Serial Number values as a hybrid hex/decimal notation. The actual value recorded in the EXIF "maker notes" section for at least some Canon cameras seems to be encoded in such a hybrid format. When I wrote this answer in early 2014 Jeffrey's EXIF viewer displayed the undecoded hybrid number for an EOS 50D, a 7D, and a 5D Mark II. By late 2015 when this answer was written, Irfanview displays the same number stamped on the body for a 7D Mark II and 5D Mark III. For the same 50D, Irfanview still displays the "Serial Number" as "1520708485 (5AA411141)". The number stamped on the bottom of the body is the first number, while the number in parenthesis is the encoded hybrid value that actually appears in the EXIF Info. Images from the older 7D and 5D Mark II also displays both values, while images from the newer 5D Mark III and 7D Mark II only display the stamped serial number with no "encoded" hybrid hex/decimal value in parentheses. 2ff7e9595c
